Alchemilla Creations - My name is Laura and I create beautiful and unique cushions and corsages. All the fabrics on the fronts of the cushions are up-cycled from fabric sample books. I love colour and texture and the process of combining the fabrics to give a stunning result. All cushions come with a luxury cushion pad filled with ethically sourced duck feathers (or a fibre pad for those who are allergic to feathers). Carolyn's Crafty Creations - I have been crafting for many years for my own pleasure but now I want to share my crafty creations with you. I work with all types of materials and use many techniques. - I love working with felt, which I use for my sewing accessories – needle cases, scissor holders and decorated tape measures.
I decorate candles, both traditional and battery operated LED candles. Recently I have been capturing fairies, dragons and dinosaurs and putting them into jars which I then make into night lights.
I always have something on my knitting needles, baby booties, hats, gloves, scarves even bags.
Another passion is covering notebooks, using tweeds, cottons and silk then adding embellishments.
I never know what I’ll be doing next, so you are never quite sure what will be on my stall.
Charred Wood - Charred Wood is a small UK family business that sources and shapes wood from the Scottish Borders and hand burns a design of your choice to make unique and striking pieces. We use pyrography pens and blowtorches to handmake each item using woodburning techniques. From chopping boards to wall hangers, we can custom make each piece based on a photo of your choice. If you don't have a picture we can also sketch a design based on ideas you send us and you can add a personalised message to any board too. Childrens Hospice Association Scotland aka CHAS – REGISTERED CHARITY - Most people know us as CHAS. For over twenty years CHAS has been offering a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. We're committed to making sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is a time filled with happiness and fun. Helen & David established the small business Hand Knitted Cashmere in January 2016. David has over 30 years’ experience in the Knitwear Industry in Hawick their home town. During that time, he has gained extensive knowledge of Cashmere Yarns used to produce the highest quality cashmere knitwear in the world. This knowledge is without a doubt a huge contributing factor to the success of this small business. Helen also has a long history working within the knitwear industry, but from a retail point of view. She has managed two shops selling direct to the public some of the high-quality cashmere garments produced in the factories in Hawick. Jams & Preserves from My Coldingham Kitchen.
Mandy and her team spend many hours making and testing the best of ingredients on us before their delicious jams and preserves reach the shelves of the market to ensure they are of the highest quality. Lucky us! - Mandy says: "We always use the best of our local fruits when in season."
Every fortnight there will be a separate preserve stall with a large range of jams, marmalade, chutney, homemade mustard and more! There will be a smaller selection available on My Coldingham Kitchen’s stall on other weeks at the St Abbs market and some of our Pop-up markets in the year.

Jane Charles Studio Glass - Simply stunning work
Jane Charles has been producing a wide range of glass paperweights perfume bottles, vases, bowls and sculptural works since 1987. She is inspired by the bright forms and colours of the sea. After 24 years at Whitehouse Enterprise Centre Jane moved studios in February 2011 to her new workshop situated fittingly a couple of hundred yards away from the old Lemington Glassworks site .

I started making Macrame in spring 2019 after leaving my job as a Nursery Practitioner. It started off as a hobby and has since turned into a small business.

Plants, Shoots and Leaves - we have a wide range of unusual and rare hardy as well as some more widely available garden worthy plants we specialise in Epimedium and Hardy Geraniums. Many of the plants we grow are attractive to wildlife especially bees and butterflies. We also offer a garden design service. We aim to grow most of our plants from seed or cuttings from our own stock plants. We use mainly peat free or locally produced compost for growing our plants on and use organic methods of pest and disease control. Testing new varieties in the nursery, this is in a frost pocket, with freezing temperatures often lingering for days.
